Despite holding a better record than the Royals, the Cards have struggled to put up a win over them this season. Coach Dreier said that this matchup was very similar to the first, which did not favor Annandale. The girls played well for most of the game and even held a nine-point lead in the second half, but a late game scoring drought stopped them from topping the Royals, falling 71-64 on Tuesday, Feb. 11.
