LTFM dollars to be used for track resurfacing project

Project is anticipated for summer 2025

Annandale High School’s track has hit a point where competing teams are unwilling to run on it due to the hardness and disrepair of the surface. The track was last repaired eight years ago with the expectation that it would last the district another five to seven years before needing to be completely redone. This has held true and as discussed at previous school board meetings, the high school track will now be resurfaced this summer. The cost of the resurfacing will be funded through Long-Term Facilities and Maintenance (LTFM) dollars and will not result in an increase in taxes.
