Michael John Pilgram

Michael John Pilgram was born on May 27, 1954, to LeRoy and Delphie (Anderson) Pilgram in Normandy, Mo. His family moved to Mound, Minn., and lived on a hobby farm with pigeons, turkeys and ponies. He graduated from Mound High School in 1972. He attended two years at Itasca Community College.
On September 29, 1979 he married Carrie Lyn Wold at Our Saviors Church in Norcross Minn. Michael and Carrie had three children, Nathan, Stephen and Amanda. They raised their family in Annandale, Minn. Michael worked as a machinist at WSI for 22 years.
Michael enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, wrestling, fantasy football, aged scotch, cigars and reading. He had a ‘knack of knowledge” for old movies, vintage music and musicians.
He is survived by his wife Carrie Pilgram, his children, Nathan (Kelsey) Pilgram, Stephen (Alyssa) Pilgram and Amanda Pilgram; grandchildren, Amelia, Gabriel, Evelyn, Elynorah, Owen and Rosalee; brother, Richard (Sandy) Pilgram, and sister, Linda (Geno) Otten; mother-in-law, Lorene Wold; brother-in-law, Craig Wold, sisters-in-law, Wendy (Kevin) Fagre, Angie Rustand and Kristin Wold.
He is procreeded in death by his parents, Leroy and Delphie Pilgram; sister, Diane Pilgram, father-in-law, Willard (Willie) Wold, and brother-in-law, Lance Wold.
Funeral will take place on October 5, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Annandale. Visitation is at noon. Funeral is at 1 p.m. Refreshments wil be served afterwards.
In lieu of flowers, memorials are preferred.
