Jean A. Noland, age 85 of Annandale, went to be with her Lord on Saturday, Nov. 11, 2023, at the Annandale Care Center.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, Dec. 18, at St. John’s Lutheran Church in Annandale with visitation one hour prior to the service. Burial will take place at St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.
Jean Ann Luedke was born April 5, 1938, in Minneapolis to Clarence and Grace (Wiggins) Luedke. She grew up in North Minneapolis, graduating from Minneapolis North High School with the Class of 1956. On April 19, 1958, she was united in marriage to the boy from the bowling alley, James Lee Noland. They lived and worked in Robbinsdale, Minnesota, and Atlanta, GA, before moving back to Brooklyn Center and Fridley to raise their family. Jean worked as a bookkeeper at House of Television in Minneapolis and Sporting Goods, Inc. in Brooklyn Park. Jean and Jim moved to Clearwater in retirement and in 2003, they moved to Annandale. Jean enjoyed golfing, reading, and music. Her greatest passion was for her family, especially her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
She is survived by her husband, Jim; son, Don (Sandy) Noland of Maple Lake; daughter, Laura (Brian) Beuning of Lakeville; five grandchildren, Sam (HollyAnn) Noland, Greg (Masha) Beuning, Tori (Landon) Werner, Michael (Rachel) Beuning, and Eric Noland; four great-grandchildren, Charlie and Marlee Noland, Winona and Holden Werner; and many other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, Clarence and Grace Luedke; and brothers, Neal and Bill Luedke.
