It was announced Friday, May 1, that the Miss Annandale Ambassador Program will be canceled for the remainder of 2020 due to the COVID-19 virus.
There were seven young ladies who wanted to participate this year and the Ambassador Program organizers hope they will be able to participate in 2021.
“The COVID-19 crisis has created so much uncertainty. We can’t function as a program without facilities for our events, other community parades and coronations for our Ambassadors to attend,”’said a representative of the Ambassador Committee.
