Regular Meeting of the School Board – July 27, 2026 at 7:00 pm
1. Jones called the meeting to order at 7:00 pm.
2. Pledge of Allegiance
3. Board members present: Katie Jones, Dillon Dougherty, Gena Jacobson, Melissa Muehring-Paulson and Jenna Witherbee. Absent: Jennifer Mealey
4. Jacobson moved to approve the agenda items. Muehring-Paulson seconded. Motion carried 5-0.
5. Committee Reports
6. Community Comments/Concerns: One member of the community addressed the School Board.
7. Muehring-Paulson moved to approve the Consent Agenda. Dougherty seconded. Motion carried 5-0.
A. Approval of meeting minutes from the June 29, 2026 Regular Board Meeting
B. Approval of the July check register
C. Approval of Personnel Matters
8. Unfinished Business
A. Enrollment projections for 2025-26: Tim Prom reviews enrollment.
B. Facilities update: Rick Pulled gives an update.
9. New Business
A. Jacobson moved to approve the 2026-2027 Annandale Athletics and Activities Handbook. Witherbee seconded. Motion carried 5-0.
B. Discussion/Information about the Minnesota’s Permanent School Fund: Tim Prom reviews information.
C. Jacobson moved to approve and adopt the Resolution Relating to the Election of School Board Members and Calling the School District General Election. Muehring-Paulson seconded. Motion carried 5-0.
D.Dougherty moved to approve the Lunch Prices and Fees for 2026-2027. Muehring-Paulson seconded. Motion carried 5-0.
E.Consider approval of the FY28 Long-Term Facilities Maintenance Ten-Year Plan:
1.Jacobson moved to approve and adopt the Resolution Adopting the School District’s Fiscal Year FY28 Long-Term Facilities Maintenance Ten-Year Plan. Witherbee seconded. Motion carried 5-0.
2.FY28 LTFM 10-Year Expenditures Application
3.FY28 LTFM 10-Year Revenue Projection
F.Muehring-Paulson moved to approve and adopt the July Resolution Accepting Donations. Dougherty seconded. Motion carried 5-0.
G.Consider the second reading of the new policy: Cardiac Emergency Response Plan (CERP)
H.Dougherty moved to approve two policies in the review cycle. Witherbee seconded. Motion carried 5-0.
10.Information Items
A.The next monthly meeting will be at the Annandale Elementary School on Monday, August 24, 2026 at 7:00 pm held in person in the media center.
11.Jacobson moved to adjourn the meeting at 7:31 pm. Muehring-Paulson seconded. Motion carried 5-0.

6. Jacobson made a motion to adjourn at 6:35 pm. Muehring-Paulson seconded. Motion carried 5-0.

PETITION FOR PROBATE OF WILL AND APPOINTMENT OF PERSONAL REPRESENTATIVE AND NOTICE TO CREDITORS
Notice is given that on October 13, 2026 at 9:00 am, a hearing will be held remotely via Zoom in this Court at 3700 Braddock Avenue, Buffalo, Minnesota, for the formal probate of an instrument purporting to be the Will of the Decedent dated, April 11, 2022, (“Will”), and for the appointment of Allen Jones, as Personal Representative of the Estate of the Decedent in an unsupervised administration. Any objections to the petition must be filed with the Court prior to or raised at the hearing. If proper and if no objections are filed or raised, the Personal Representative will be appointed with full power to
administer the Estate including the power to collect all assets, to pay all legal debts, claims, taxes and expenses, to sell real and personal property, and to do all necessary acts for the Estate.
Notice is also given that (subject to Minnesota Statutes section 524.3-801) all creditors having claims against the Estate are required to present the claims to the Personal Representative or to the Court Administrator within four months after the date of this Notice or the claims will be barred.
