Lori Lynn Thompson, 48, of Annandale, died unexpectedly on Tuesday, Nov. 27, 2018.

Funeral services were held 1:30 p.m. on Tuesday, Dec. 4, at St. John's Lutheran Church, Annandale with Rev. Dave Nelson officiating. Burial was to follow at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, French Lake. Visitation was held at noon on Tuesday at the church.

Mark R. Menth, 67, of Maple Lake died in the early hours of Monday, Nov. 26, 2018, at his home with family at his side.

Mass of Christian Burial was held Friday, Nov. 30, at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. John Meyer as Celebrant. Burial followed at St. Timothy Catholic Cemetery.

Andrew Heiskary, 90 of Blaine, passed unexpectedly on Friday, Nov. 23, 2018. 

Funeral services were held Monday, Dec. 3 at Christ Lutheran Church, Blaine. Interment to be at Morningside Gardens, Coon Rapids.

Jennifer G. Cook

Jennifer Garton Cook, 46, of Duluth, formerly of Annandale, passed away on Friday, Nov. 23.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at 5 p.m. Friday, Dec. 7, at Good Hope Church, Duluth.

She is survived by husband, David Allen Cook; children Mikka and Michael Kauti; father John Garton; sisters Patti (Kevin) Johnson and Cheryl (Ron) Edberg, and many other relatives and friends.

She was preceded in death by mother, Pearl Garton.

Mark R. Menth, 67, of Maple Lake died Monday, Nov. 26, 2018, at his home with family at his side.

A Mass of Christian burial will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at St. Timothy Catholic Church, Maple Lake with Fr. John Meyer as Celebrant. Burial will follow at St. Timothy Catholic Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 3 to 7 p.m. on Thursday and from 9 to 10 a.m. on Friday, both at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Maple Lake. A prayer service will be held at 7 p.m. on Thursday at the funeral home.

A funeral service will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at the Annandale United Methodist Church in Annandale with visitation one hour prior to the service. Pastor Paul Baker will officiate. Burial will take place at 3 p.m. Friday, Nov. 30, at Pine Ridge Cemetery in Emily.

Catherine L. Johnson, 56
Catherine L. Johnson, 56, of St. Cloud died Monday, Nov. 19, 2018, at the St. Cloud Hospital.

A funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Monday, Nov. 26, at the Dingmann Funeral Care Chapel, Annandale with Rev. Dave Nelson officiating. Visitation was held from 3 to 6 p.m. on Sunday and one hour prior to the service on Monday, both at the funeral home. Burial followed at Immanuel Lutheran Cemetery, French Lake.

Cathy is survived by her children, Jeremiah Johnson of Wahpeton, North Dakota and Taylor Johnson of St. Cloud; siblings, Thomas (Holly) Gerard of Alexandria and Paul (Peggy) Gerard of Shakopee; significant other, Duane Jaeger; former husband, Tom Johnson; close friend, Linda.

Catherine Lee Johnson was born Aug. 11, 1962, in Minneapolis to Jerome and Margaret (Lee) Gerard. Cathy grew up in south Minneapolis, where she graduated from South High School in 1980. She continued her education at the University of Minnesota. Over the years, Cathy lived in Florida, Texas, Annandale and St. Cloud. She worked at Bullwinkles Saloon in Minneapolis, the Roadhouse in Sachse, Texas, Southbrook in Annandale, Starbucks in Buffalo, McDonald's in Annandale, Fleet Farm in Waite Park and Creative Memories in St. Cloud. She enjoyed horses, traveling and being with family and friends.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday, Nov. 28, at Bethlehem United Church of Christ in Maple Lake with Pastor Marc Well Nagel officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the church.
