Luanna M. Stroh, 70
Luanna Stroh, 70, of Green Valley, Arizona died Sunday, Dec. 23, 2018, at home surrounded by her loving family.
A memorial in Luanna's honor will be held at a later date.
In her honor donations may be made to the American Cancer Society.
Luanna is survived by her husband, Larry Stroh; children, Tracy (Kurt) Larson of Anoka and Dr. Brandon Stroh of Branson, Missouri and Brandon's spouse and the mother of his children, Adriana Stroh and Tracey Stroh; grandchildren, Baylen, Sumner, Nate, Quinn, Brandon Jr. and Asher; brother, Jim (Robbie) Sullivan of Seattle, Washington; sister, Janice Sullivan of Seattle, Washington; mother-in-law, Mary Stroh of Fargo, North Dakota; and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Bernice and Jerome; brother, Mike Sullivan; and nephew, John Sullivan.
Luanna Mae Sullivan was born May 16, 1948, in Fargo, North Dakota to Bernice and Jerome Sullivan. She graduated from Lisbon High School. On Feb. 24, 1968, Luanna married her high school sweetheart Larry Stroh in Fargo. Luanna graduated from University of Minnesota in Morris with her bachelor's degree in music education. They made their home in Graceville until building their home on Lake John in Annandale. They had two children, Tracy and Brandon. Luanna obtained her master's and doctorate degrees in music education from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis. She taught music education at the University of Montana and retired from Concordia College in Moorhead after 10 years. She supervised many student music teachers at Concordia College in Moorhead. In 2008 they retired to Green Valley, Arizona. Luanna will now be singing in heaven.
