John 'Jack' Waldhauer
John J. "Jack" Waldhauer, 90, of Annandale died Tuesday, June 19, 2018, peacefully at home on Lake Sylvia surrounded by family.
A memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 11, at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship, 3226 Maine Prairie Road, St. Cloud. In lieu of flowers, memorials preferred to MPR or Allina Health Hospice Foundation.
Jack is survived by his wife of 67 years, Betty (née Bull); daughters and their families, Deb Waldhauer (Mark), Judi Waldhauer and Peggy Stewart (Gary); grandchildren, Nate (Elissa) and Sierra Stewart and Sean and Tara O'Donnell.
Jack was born March 1, 1928, in Jamaica, New York, raised in Cincinnati, and a graduate of Antioch College. He held management positions in manufacturing for Honeywell, Crestliner, and Control Data. His positions took him to locations domestic and abroad. Rarely seen without a smile or giving a kind word, Jack had many passions, including travel, boating and golf and he was an active member of several Unitarian Universalist fellowships. His love of computers was surpassed only by his love and enjoyment of family and friends. He was a true champion for his grandchildren.
