Barbara Ann Miller
Barbara Ann Miller, 68, of Annandale, died Wednesday, Aug. 13, 2014, with her daughters by her side at The Oasis of Lake Ridge in Buffalo.
The funeral will be held on Saturday, Aug. 23, at Zion Lutheran Church, Annandale. Visitation will start at 10 a.m., service at 11:30 a.m. and lunch to follow directly after.
She is survived by her daughters, Cassie (Paul) Albinson of Crystal, Lisa Leinonen of Wayzata, and Tara (Robbie) Brown of Winona; her cherished grandchildren: Ki and Caleb Albinson and baby Brown due Sept. 1.; her siblings, Jerry Miller of Annandale, Carol Hempel of Clinton, Ark., and Terri (Kenny) Nelson of Annandale and many nieces, nephews; Godchildren, cousins, friends and her faithful feline companion Annie.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother-in-law Gerry Hempel.
Barb was born March 5, 1946, in Minneapolis, to Phillip and Eva (Fieldseth) Miller. She was a 1964 graduate of Annandale High School and she spent the majority of her life in Annandale. She enjoyed garage sales, Duck Dynasty, Lifetime movies and visiting with her family and friends. She had a way of drawing people towards her and she impacted many people's lives, especially over the last 16 months during her battle with cancer.
Barb was a member of Zion Lutheran Church in Annandale, and her faith was strengthened during her journey with cancer. She was positive and uplifting throughout the entire process and she was an amazing Christian witness for many people.
