Theodore J. Flanders
Theodore J. "Teddy" Flanders, 53, of Annandale died Monday, June 2, 2014, at his home in Annandale surrounded by loved ones after a short but hard struggle with cancer.
Memorial services were held on Friday, June 6.
Ted is survived by his daughters, Jennifer Schmidt of Clearwater and Joscelyn Flanders of Annandale; grandchildren, Jorden Schmidt, Eli Schultz and Myles Freiberg; sisters, Brenda McLean of Annandale and Cindy (Lee) Nelson of Annandale; brother, Bobby (Carol) McLean of Tyler, Texas; 14 neices and nephews and his dog Rosie.
He was preceded in death by his parents, infant sister and his beloved dog, Babe
Theodore James Flanders was born February 9, 1961, in Wichita, Kan., to Robert and Juanita (Ferguson) Flanders. Ted's life story includes working at Minnesota Meat Masters, as an IT tech at Midwest Signs, as a dispatcher for Wright County Sherriff's Department and as an inspector for the City of Minneapolis. Ted developed a passion for helping others through AA, Waverly Treatment Center and Hazelden Plymouth Campus; he had a story to tell. His true passion was the Annandale Fire Department; he loved his "fire department family." Ted had a love for duck hunting, fishing, NHRA Drag Racing, Minnesota Wild Hockey and ice cream.
