Lorraine A. Ogg
Lorraine A. Ogg, 88, of Annandale and formerly of St. Paul, died Wednesday, Aug. 21, 2013, at Park Place Cottage of Centennial Villa Assisted Living, Annandale.
Interment will be 11 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28, at Assembly Area 1, Fort Snelling National Cemetery, Minneapolis.
She is survived by her children Sonny (Diane) Hammond of Alexandria, Tina Griffin of Caledonia, Dennis (Connie) Hammond of Fort Isabel, Texas, Robin (Frank) Velasquez of South Haven, Patricia Harris of Illinois, Jay (Judy) Hammond of St. Paul; brother, Thomas Slipka of Turtle Lake, Wis.; 13 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren, and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband Jean H. Ogg on Aug. 18, 2002; also two brothers and two sisters.
Lorraine Agnes Ogg was born Nov.8, 1924, in St. Paul to Fred and Rose (Kritz) Slipka. She worked as a waitress for several bars and restaurants in the St. Paul area and since 2007 has lived in Annandale.
