Constance W. Kuehn
Constance W. Kuehn (Connie), 95, of Annandale and Edina, passed away on March 21, 2013, in Albuquerque, N.M.
Memorials in Connie's name are preferred to the Friends of Annandale Public Library.
Connie is survived by her sons, Woody and wife Nandini of Albuquerque, N.M., and David of Chiang Mai, Thailand; daughter Gretchen and husband George Govier of Tucson, Ariz.; and grandchildren Michael and Missy Govier.
Her husband, Frank passed away in December 2010. Shortly after that, she moved from Minnesota to Albuquerque to be closer to her son and daughter-in-law.
Connie was born on Oct. 20, 1917, in Minneapolis. She graduated from the University of Minnesota and taught dental hygiene in the Minneapolis public schools for several years. She married Frank O. Kuehn, Jr. in 1945. In 1955, they purchased a home on Lake Sylvia. Over the next 56 years, they lived a portion of each year at Lake Sylvia, including many years as year-round residents. Annandale and Lake Sylvia were a big part of Connie's life. For many years, she was an active member of the Annandale Improvement Club and the Greater Lake Sylvia Association.
