Dean David Enge
Dean David Enge, 59, of Buffalo, passed away on Monday, Jan. 28, 2013, at his residence after a short battle with cancer.
Funeral services were held Saturday, Feb. 2, at Peterson Chapel, Buffalo with Pastor Phillip Jackson officiating.
He is survived by his loving wife, Michelle Enge; daughter Melanie Enge; grandson Jacob Rains; mother-in-law, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law; aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, co-workers and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, David and Maryann Enge; son Michael Enge and a brother-in-law.
He was born in Minneapolis, on March 15, 1953, the son of David and Maryann Babcock Enge. On Jan. 20, 1978, Dean D. Enge and Michelle R. Alberg were joined in holy marriage. They just recently celebrated 35 years together. God blessed their marriage with two children. Dean was a Senior Correctional Officer and served 26 years at the Hennepin County Adult Correctional Facility. He was with the Annandale Fire Department and Ambulance Service as an EMT for over seven years. Dean was also involved in AFSCME Union Local No. 1719 and served for many years in the capacity of president, secretary, and various other positions. He lived the majority of his life as a public servant serving with honor and following God's will.
