Timothy G. Lantto
Timothy G. Lantto, 60, of Elk River died Monday, Dec. 10, 2012, at J.A. Wedum Residential Hospice, Brooklyn Park. Funeral services were Saturday, Dec. 15, at Our Saviour's Lutheran Church, French Lake Township, Wright County with Rev. Edward Groop officiating and burial at Riverside Cemetery.
He is survived by his wife Pamela of Elk River; children and their spouses Charlene and Ryan Streifel of Lakeville, Joshua and Elizabeth Lantto of Maple Grove; granddaughter Natalie Streifel; brothers Todd (Gayle) of Chanhassen, Curt (Chris) of Chaska, Tom (Lilia) of Buffalo; sisters-in-law Marcia Lantto of Buffalo, Gerry Lantto of Golden Valley; mother-in-law Lorraine Miller of Annandale; sister and brother-in-law Gloria and Les Nelson of Maple Grove; also many nieces, nephews, cousins, and other family and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Paul and Joe, and father-in-law Russel Miller.
Timothy George Lantto was born May 23, 1952, in St. Cloud to George and Irene (Forare) Lantto and graduated from Annandale High School in 1970. He married Pamela J. Miller on Sept. 20, 1975, and for the past 19 years they have lived at Elk River. He worked as a carpenter for Osborne Construction in Plymouth the past nine years and previously for Proco Construction in Osseo. He was a member of the Carpenter Union and enjoyed hunting, woodworking, and time spent at the lake and with family and friends.
